Keeping in touch!

It is my desire to help keep in touch with those loved ones we have met along the way. Some live near and some live far. I would love to share what is going on in my life but sometimes it is a challenge to do just that, to stay in touch. I may not always have time to during "normal" hours to pick up a phone. It seems like my extra times come in the late night hours! I hope those of you that find your way to this blog will come regularly...and share. I would love to hear all that is going on in your life. Check regularly, I hope to have lot's of little goodies for you along the way! Many, many blessings!and lots of love!Karen

Hey hey Karen Sue... Wow this is great! :) How did you come up with this!? This could be a lot of fun. Well, okay, so I'll give you an update of our family... April and the girls moved up here on February 1 and Dameron is still in Twentynine Palms. April has a career opportunity that her and Dameron didn't want to pass up. She is working for a Mortgage group and they are willing to personally train her, she has great potential to get established and make some good money. They've discussed it extensively and this was their choice. April and the girls have been going to church every Sunday... YAY! and seem very excited to be there, I've heard through the grapevine that she's wanting to join the worship team as well, so who know's what God has in store. April and the grils have a place of there own so they are not staying with us. Dameron will be comig up on April 19 and staying for about 10 days, April and the girls a very excited in seeing Dameron needless to say. Of course Ross and I are pretty glad about it too :). We have not heard anymore about Dameron going to Iraq so at this time it's a waiting game, just pray that he won't have to go - but if he does I know that the God we serve will take care of my baby and I trust Him! So that's pretty much on them.
Sheri, Chris and the girls seem to be doing okay. Sheri has a job working at her mom's work, in the warehouse. Her hours stink though she works swingshift so hopefully that won't stay that way for too long but it's a start and the place she is working has exellent benifits. Chris is having some back issues and it's effecting his job (he's had prior back surgery). Unfortunately, it's begining to cause him a lot of pain and is slowing down his productivity. They have been looking to buy a house or a duplex of some sort it would be really great in seeing them be under the same roof. All of our granddaughters are doing wonderful and of course they are so beautiful and full of life! They are fun fun fun.... we enjoy them very much and all of them love going to church and learning to love Jesus! :)
As for Rossy Poo (heheehe) his is a busy man.... besides working a full time job as a warehouse manager, he is going to Bible College, helping head up a men's group in our church called "David's Mighty Men" twice a month, He (and I) over see the Adults ministries in the church, which facets out to about three other ministries outside of our own and we currently teach a discipleship class on Sunday nights. Whew.... he's one busy guy, O' I almost forgot they are begining an intercessors prayer goup starting in March on Thursday nights to be praying for our world, country, church and peoples. (He is very excited about this) God has placed this on his heart for a long time he can hardly wait to get started.
And a little catch up on me (not Katchup) hehehe :) or maybe it is :) anyways, I am doing a Women's Bible Study that has 10 week sessions with Beth Moore Bible Studies. I absolutly love it right now we are Studing The Patriarchs - Encountering The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! It's a very rich study FULL of meat, Yummy to my spirit! I hold these classes on Monday nights and along with Ross we teach the Foundations (discipleship class) on Sunday nights and over see the Adult ministries with our Senior Pastor and I also help in the women's minstry from time to time, also am doing the Bible College with my man and of couse as you already know my regular job I have at the church.
Side bar... Ross and I will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary this year. We will be renewing our vows, on the 18th of August. We would so love for you all to come and join us (if you can)so talk it over with Dane and see if its possible. I love you my bosom friend and miss you so very greatly, hope to hear from you very soon.

Sent in love,
Brenda

My dear Bosom Friend! If I looked up the name Brenda in the dictionary it would say, "SEE FAITHFUL, SEE DEDICATED, SEE DETERMINATION". I glory in what I see the Lord doing in your and Rossi's life! It's incredible. It just keeps getting better and better.
I know you are so excited to have the girls there. April is one brave girl! We will continue to pray for Dameron. Your faith is inspiring.
I am so glad for SHari that they may be under the same roof. That is good news, yes? The Lord brings Faith to my memory often.
I hope to be talking to you soon. Sorry I wasn't home Sunday. Hopefully soon we can talk.
We have marked our calendar and hope to work out our coming out in August. Really want to be there. 25 years! WOW!
I am hoping (when I figure it out) to add a True Life Fellowship section to this blog. For some of us "old timer's" to re-unite. What do you think?
Love you so much and miss you!
